KOMODO
Liveaboard
6 nights | 15 dives
A liveaboard expedition in Komodo National Park is an immersive adventure that combines diving, exploration, and relaxation. The Komodo Liveaboard Experience starts in Labuan Bajo on the Indonesian Island of Flores, where you'll spend your first night in accommodation on land before venturing out into Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most biodiverse marine regions in the world.
There will be 5 days of diving, with 3 to 4 dives per day, in pristine locations with drift, wall, muck diving, each with their own unique encounters with marine life. During our days aboard we will also touch land to explore the beauty of Komodo National Park seeing Komodo Dragons, hike on Padar Island to enojy the most panoramic view and enjoy a surface interval on Pink Beach.
Diving
Indonesia's waters are teeming with marine life, including over 3,000 species of fish and 600 coral species. Divers can expect to see large pelagics like manta rays, reef sharks, and whale sharks; small critters like pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs and frogfish; and diverse coral species and vibrant underwater ecosystems.
We recommend divers are certified Advanced Open Water (or equivalent) for this experience as the depth and type of dive require more experience and skill. The water temperature is usually between 23°C and 28°C and there are often strong currents and tides depending on the season and dive site.
